sound sCape

mentor : PEI

Class Room : NCTU Xue-Ren Hall 1st Building, Room HA316

Departs from the audio environment of your own surrounding, aimed to rediscover and understand what have been neglecting by ear in daily life, those mechanical, humanistic events, sometimes hidden, somehow unaware. I called a session of soundscape recording as “seed”. By editing and manipulating computing sound waves and de-constructing sound-object, to patch virtual soundscape with multi-tracking environment. This workshop emphasis on listening experiences, students would be asked to produce 3 to 30 mins of audio work, alternatively, a co-operation with other module's student as the outcome of workshop.
