intro. His interests combine transdisciplinary research and communication at the interface between art & science, experimental electronic music, development of new musical instruments, pixel-animations and short movies, traditional boat punting, forest cultivation and restoration of a wooden cottage. Through the years as a researcher in ETH Zurich, Marc focused on such fields as BioMicroRobotics for application in minimally invasive surgery, Nanoengineering the 3-dimensional Environment of Cells in Culture and Biologically Oriented Materials. He also devoted in the framework of the Swiss Mechatronic Art Society (SGMK) hands-on skills to physical computing and DIY electronic instruments as well as organizing workshops and the diy* festival, an art & technology festival held in Zurich.
